Joseph Ensley :: Guitar Instructor

Joseph Ensley began his performance career at Griffin Community Concerts’ Young Artist showcase in 2002. His primary instructor has been Dr. William Hearn of Clayton State University, but he has also performed and studied in master classes with Carlos Bonell, Andrew Zohn and Mary Ackerman. In the spring of 2007, he was a top prize winner in two performance competitions in Georgia. Mr. Ensley has taught classical and folk guitar to beginner, intermediate and adult students for five years. He is a certified instructor for Guitars Not Guns, a youth outreach for at-risk children. In 2006, he released his first CD recording in collaboration with his brother, Jonathan, also a musician. He continues to perform regularly as a freelance artist.
