Theresa Chafin grew up in Griffin, where she studied piano and voice and was active in church and community music activities. She graduated in May 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Brewton-Parker College in Mount Vernon, Georgia and completed a Master of Music Theory in June 2007 from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.

Theresa has past experience in acting and directing musical theater, as well as choral conducting. She has recently returned home, married and is excited about teaching at the Griffin School for the Arts.

Theresa loves to read, scrapbook, watch the Braves, and discuss politics.
